About Us

Sunset is an independent distributor and stockist of branded IT products located in the South East

Founded in 1999, we have grown over the past 19 years to become one of the UK’s leading independent IT hardware distributors, thanks largely to the support of our hundreds of loyal repeat customers.

Our main focus is on the supply of European sourced HP/HPE products, particularly networking, ProLiant servers and options, printers and consumables. We also offer competitive prices on other branded products.

In 2009, company turnover reached £10 million

Turnover Doubled

In 2011, turnover reached £20 million

New Premises

Sunset moved into a newly-refurbished, purpose-built distribution facility in May 2013


In February 2014, Sunset celebrated 15 years in business

Further Growth

In March 2017, the company was turning over £34 million

Trading Update

In January 2018, with Brexit pending, Sunset UK has changed its trading name to Sunset IT Distribution. Sunset has launched a new website and brand to better accommodate for the changing economic climate.


In February 2019, Sunset celebrated 20 years in business.

Our unrivalled ability to supply branded European sourced hardware at low prices allows us to make significant savings, which we then pass on to our customers, maximising the value for money they get from buying from us.

With a large inventory of new discounted IT products in stock at our warehouse, we pride ourselves on also offering some of the most competitive prices for same or next-day delivery in the UK and mainland Europe.

In 2015, we were honoured to be listed in the “1,000 Companies To Inspire Britain”, an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.
